What is worship painting?

Each painting is painted live, started and
finished within the time of the service.  Often times I have illustrated the message at the same time that it is given (usually within 45 minutes).  I have also done a lot of painting during the worship/singing times.

To begin with I ask for the theme of the service or a specific bible verse that may be highlighted.

Then I spend time praying for God to give me

an image to paint.  When I’ve done spontaneous painting, I ask for a color to start with!  He is faithful, and I am humbled that God would use my marks on a canvas to communicate his heart and to be a blessing.
